As a Graphic Designer for the Girl Scouts of America, I tackled the challenge of designing co-branded partnership projects with renowned brands such as LEGO, Raytheon, Morgan Stanley, The North Face, and Johnson & Johnson. Recognizing the delicate balance in merging two distinct brand identities, I prioritized the interests of the girl scout herself throughout the design process. By placing her needs and preferences at the forefront of our work, I ensured that every design decision resonated with our target audience, ultimately strengthening the impact of our collaborations.
Amid an overhaul of the massive AT&T brand, my task as an art director was to create diverse media for non-core markets (military, foreign nationals, lower-income consumers) while preserving the core values of a Fortune 15 company. Embracing the new AT&T brand motto, "Rethink Possible," I expanded our reach beyond the tech elite, driving sales in overlooked sectors like prepaid calling cards. I designed and executed an extensive spread of various media, ensuring consistency and impact across platforms.
Publisher Initiatives aimed to broaden PCMag.com's tech-savvy audience by tapping into related yet unexplored market spaces. Collaborating closely with the editorial team, we conceptualized tent-pole projects such as content-rich sites focusing on business travel and identity security. These initiatives resonated with readers and expanded our advertising reach into previously untapped markets. My integral role spanned from early ideation to the final rollout, where I crafted the visual identities of these channels, encompassing logos, UI/UX, branding, and promotion, ensuring their successful launch and impact.
My client advertising work at PCMag.com aimed to create innovative opportunities for both existing and new clients. As the sole designer working with the sales team, I developed a wide array of solutions including high-impact placements, native advertising, interactive experiences, contests, microsites, content hubs, branding channels, and presentation materials. Working closely with sales and marketing teams, I ensured that our custom executions aligned with clients' existing programs, resulting in engaging campaigns tailored to their needs.
In 2019 I oversaw the launch of the Girl Scout's Cyber Challenge: a nationwide STEM learning event developed to ignite interest in computer science and cybersecurity. I designed the event’s branding and materials end-to-end, as well as consulting on game mechanics. My work ensured the event captivated participants as they tackled complex puzzles and cyber-attack scenarios while at the same time promoting Girl Scout membership and enrollment to new potential scouts.
Lauching an outdoor ecology initiative during the global COVID-19 lockdown was a tall order, but Girl Scouts are never one to back down from a challenge. For the Girl Scout Tree Promise program I designed a comprehensive suite of materials, including games, literature, patches, and event collateral. These resources formed the backbone of our initiative, providing both information and motivation for participants to contribute to this vital environmental cause.
Tasked with building an extensive gamified user experience for the Kraft family of products, my solution involved leveraging my expertise in game design and user interaction. I developed a blueprint for a robust social media platform, tailored specifically for the Kraft brand. Within the first month of launch, the platform attracted tens of thousands of registered users, marking a remarkable success. My role encompassed UI/UX consulting, game design, wireframing, and art direction consulting, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
This work won a Gold Echo Award from the Association of National Advertisers (formerly the Direct Marketing Association) in 2012

In the healthcare industry, the stakes are high and the challenges unique. Regulatory compliance, brand voice integrity, and the absolute necessity for error-free work define the landscape. Meeting these complexities and delivering meticulously designed materials is not just important, it's essential. I prioritize accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring that every deliverable meets the stringent standards of the healthcare industry. My commitment is unwavering: to provide healthcare professionals with the tools they need to communicate effectively, compliantly, and confidently in this highly specialized field.
The real trick to great marketing presentation design lies in striking a balance between sales-driven objectives and fostering genuine connections with the audience. While the ultimate goal might be to drive new business or strengthen client relationships, it's essential to avoid coming across as overly promotional. My strategy focuses on seamlessly blending sales messages with a more relatable, conversational tone, ensuring that consumers feel valued and understood rather than being bombarded with messaging. I create presentations that seek to resonate with audiences on a deeper level, ultimately driving positive outcomes for businesses and consumers alike.
